Sameena Thompson is a Great Taste award-winning chef cooking fresh slow-cooked Indian meals with royal heritage out of her Godalming kitchen for Friday takeaway and collection.

For six years we have been producing cooking sauces and hosting supper clubs and cookery classes in Godalming. With Covid we have put a temporary pause on sauces, but provide a weekly Friday meal service.

Menus change weekly and range from our unique take on popular dishes such as our Hyderabadi Chicken Curry to specialist biriyanis and pilaus.

Recipes are inspired by the royal palaces of India and the Mughal and Nawabi style of cooking, where layers of flavour are deeply embedded in these sophisticated curries.

I inherited the intuitive style of cooking from my mum and grandmother, who were legendary cooks, and it was said that they had the 'zaika' in their hands.

All the food is home-cooked from scratch, with less oil and salt, no added sugar and no additives. Many of our dishes are gluten free and vegan friendly.

Order by 10am Thursday on our website.
