With Twelfth Night having come and gone yesterday, you might be wondering what to do with your real Christmas tree now the decorations have come down.

The good news is that Godalming's three tree dropoff points are open until January 31st.

There's one at the Holloway Hill Recreation Ground car park, and two at Broadwater Park - on the old leisure centre site (access through the main car park at the Summers Road entrance), and in the Nursery Road car park.

You can also leave your real tree out for collection if you subscribe to Waverley's Garden Waste Collection Service.

The trees are taken away and turned into compost to be re-used on shrub beds in the borough.
