Avon lady Lauren seeks donations for Easter gift baskets

A Witley-based Avon representative is asking for donations to make up Easter baskets for families in need this year.

Lauren Bicknell has put out an appeal via her Facebook page for Easter-themed gifts, including foodstuffs such as chocolate, small toys, candles and smellies such as shower gel and soaps.

She told Godalming Nub News: "I'm doing it because I feel so sorry for families that are struggling though this really hard time and I want to help! As I work in childcare I wouldn't want any child going without a little toy, book or even some yummy chocolate on Easter," she said.

"I am also doing one for adults to give them something to smile about on Easter. Covid is such a terrible time."
