Volunteers and staff at Mane Chance Sanctuary have thanked Bloomfields Horseboxes after the company stepped in and donated a bag of feed every week for one of their oldest residents.

Berry is enjoying a peaceful retirement at the Compton sanctuary after a difficult life, and not long before Christmas staff were thrilled to find they had won a donation of feed for him in the Bloomfields draw.

Katy Day-Jones from Mane Chance explained that the company had now offered him a bag of feed each week for the whole of 2021.

She said: "We are so grateful for this generous support for a wonderful and kind horse that had been through so much before coming here.

"Thank you so much to all of the team at Bloomfields."
