Broadwater School is seeking to build a new dining hall and kitchen.
A planning application submitted to Waverley by Surrey County Council on behalf of the school also seeks permission for a single-storey extension to the science lab and two new parking areas.
The new dining hall and kitchen would be built in red brick and have grey aluminium windows, while the extension to the science block would also be constructed from red brick but have white window and door frames to match the ones on the original 1960s building.
The scheme would also see the creation of a new outdoor dining area for pupils to enjoy.
The new parking area would be Tarmac: the plans would not lead to any more car parking spaces, but 20 more cycle rack places would be created.
The application comes as Broadwater plans to increase pupil numbers with an additional one-form entry. It follows a consultation with neighbours, parents and other uses of the school site which closed last month.
