Fake parking tickets 'nothing to do with us,' says Waverley

Waverley Borough Council has distanced itself from fake parking tickets that have been stuck to cars across the area.
The authority said this morning: "Please be aware that someone is placing fake tickets around with different street names on it.
"If you receive the 'ticket' shown in the photo, please be aware that this is not connected to Waverley Borough Council in any way."
There is no suggestion the residents of 9A and 9B London Road, Hindhead are responsible for creating the fake tickets.
