Good morning Godalming!

Another bright and sunny day lies ahead of us, with temperatures forecast to hit up to 33C. There will be a gentle breeze, though, according to the forecast.

Just a reminder of the roadworks which are still ongong at the bottom of Eashing Lane. They have caused a few tailbacks over the last week and will be there all this week too.

The trains seem to be running OK and there are no reports of holdups on the roads.

The Godalming Community Store list of required items this week is as follows: herbal and decaf tea; chick peas; long life orange juice; men's and women's spray deodorant; crisp multipacks; snacks, biscuits and crackers; shampoo, shower gel, toilet roll four-packs; washing detergent; tinned meat meals; tinned vegetables; tinned puddings; gluten free cereal and small bottles of squash.

Perhaps you could put one or some of those extra items in your basket if you're out shopping today.
