Got a project on the go? Grants are available from Godalming Town Council

Godalming town councillors agreed at a recent meeting to hand a £4,000 grant to the Godalming Museum Trust to help it meet the cost of celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.

The Godalming Climate Forum was awarded £500 to help meet the costs of its online [L+]https://godalming.nub.news/n/online-event-will-offer-music-art-and-ideas-to-help-tackle-climate-change[L+]Climate Engagement Event[.L] taking place on 20th February.

The town council has a range of funds available for local groups. During the current year it has awarded £62,774 to local charities, community organisations and carbon reduction initiatives.

For the next financial year, which starts in April, the council has set aside £70,000 for its local grants scheme.

Anyone with a project who would like to apply for funding should visit the website to check the criteria and find out how to apply.
