Surrey Police are looking for caretakers on an ongoing temporary basis. The full-time roles pay £9 to £9.50 per hour and candidates will need to be available at short notice, happy to undergo a DBS security check and have a clean driving licence. Duties will include but not be limited to maintaining safe buildings and working environments by routinely checking fixtures and fittings and fixing faults; to inspecting police buildings including section houses to ensure hygiene, equipment and general state of repair meet Health and Safety requirements; carrying out general cleaning tasks and collecting and dropping cars to the force garage or outside agencies for repair. You will need a current full driving licence and be able to pass the tests to drive all types of police vehicles including personnel carriers.

An IT technology consultancy in Guildford is looking for a systems administrator.

The full-time role pays a salary of £30,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading a range of technologies utilised by the organisation. This will include maintaining services and responding to support requests, as well as the development of new systems and services.

He or she will ideally have a Computer Science or IT-based degree and a few years' commercial experience within system administration in a predominantly Microsoft-based environment.
