Make today Brew Monday!

It's cold, it's grey, we're in lockdown, many are struggling with bills after Christmas -no wonder the third Monday in January is coming to be known as Blue Monday.

But the Samaritans are, they say, 'turning the day on its head' and encouraging us all to virtually 'meet up' with a friend for a cuppa and a chat to chase the blues away.

Reach out to a friend, family member or colleague for a virtual cuppa and a chat - over Zoom, Skype, Whatsapp or other messaging apps. It doesn't have to be a Monday or a cup of tea, just taking time to really listen to another person could help them work through what's on their mind.

The charity is encouraging people to use the occasion to raise money for the Samaritans to help it continue its work counselling and supporting people in crisis.

Click here to find out how to turn Blue Monday into Brew Monday and help support a hugely important cause.
