Snow arrives at last, bringing joy to many - and some clever frozen creations in the parks!
After a false alarm last weekend snow finally arrived in the early hours today, blanketing Godalming in a soft white layer.
People heading out for their daily exercise made the most of the weather, with dozens of snowmen, a snow dog, a penguin - and even a Yoda springing up in the parks as builders showed off their talents.
As the sun came through at lunchtime it accentuated the colours and the light, creating a perfect winter's day to brighten what has thus far been a long and dreary January.
