From Tuesday, 6th April Godalming Town Council will be operating from its new offices at 107/109 High Street, next to Godalming Museum and opposite the Pepperpot.

The building traces its origins back to 1400, making it the oldest dated house in Godalming.

Extensive renovations were required to create equality compliant offices which are accessible for all residents and visitors.

Godalming Town Council self-managed the project, using local companies for all the specialist trades.

The town council's services have been unaffected by the move, and the council's phone number remains the same: 01483 523575.

A spokesperson for the council said: "Godalming Town Council is delighted to have finally been able to move to fully accessible offices and looks forward to welcoming residents when they visit."
