If the cold weather is keeping your children inside this Easter holiday, Waverley Borough Council can help stave off boredom with its new Virtual Activity sessions.

Activities include football skills, beginner Judo, kids fit classes, beginner Karate, making puppets, dance workshops, ballet, scavenger hunts and family trails (for those who want to wrap up warm and head outside).

A full list of what's on offer and instructions on how to get involved can be found on the Waverley website here.

All activities are happening via Zoom, so participants will need a phone, tablet or laptop, an internet connection and some space to move around. Participants need to sign up by 5pm the day before each session.

Xplorer, a free family-friendly navigation challenge, has also returned this spring, giving children a sense of adventure as they explore one of Waverley's three parks - Broadwater Park, Farnham Park and Snoxhall Fields in Cranleigh. Using a simple map, the aim is to find a number of markers, identify what is pictured and learn a fun fact.

Participants need to register online to get the downloadable map and answer sheet from the Xplorer section of the Waverley website here.
