Waitrose has announced that it won't be collecting for the Poppy Appeal in store this year, due to the restrictions around Covid.

The company says it has donated £100,000 to the Poppy Appeal, and is supporting a regular collector, who will be selling poppies under the store canopy facing Bridge Street.

He will be there from Saturday (October 24th) and can accept donations in cash or by card.
