Legal action is being taken to remove a caravan and horsebox which have been pitched in Crown Court Car Park.

The caravan is believed to have been moved on from Broadwater Park this morning, after Waverley secured an eviction notice.

Two horses have also been tethered on the Burys Field.

A Waverley Borough Council spokesperson told Godalming Nub News: "We are aware of an unauthorised encampment at Crown Court Car Park in Godalming. A single caravan has entered the site.

"Waverley Borough Council is the landowner and our solicitor has taken action to secure a court order so that the caravan can be removed at the earliest possible opportunity."
