The Union Flag flies at half mast at The Pepperpot to mark the death of Prince Philip.

South West Surrey MP Jeremy Hunt has added his voice to the debate over whether the BBC was right to run wall-to-wall coverage of the death of Prince Philip on Friday.

The corporation received so many complaints about its decision to cancel all scheduled programming in order to run tributes to the late Duke of Edinburgh that it decided to set up an online form for people to register their objections. The form has since been removed.

The Wilfrid Noyce Centre.

The Wilfrid Noyce Centre will continue to house the Community Store for the foreseeable future, despite concerns raised by some town councillors about groups being unable to use it post-Covid.

Last week's meeting of the full council was discussing a report outlining the return of groups to community facilities when the debate arose. Groups will be able to return to use community facilities from tomorrow (Monday).
