Cash donations to help Broadwater School supply pupils with IT equipment so they can work at home during the pandemic have had a "massive impact".
Thanking the people who have donated, the school said in a statement: "We have been able to supply headphones, webcams and laptops to students who do not have the technology at home. This has allowed them to access their classes and log on to the live lessons in order ensure that we have no students disadvantaged by the need to self-isolate due to the pandemic as well as during school closures.
"We have also been able to supply teachers with visualizers to help them deliver live lessons to the students. This has been an excellent way of providing hands on demonstrations from the classroom and also providing face-to-face lessons while the students are working remotely."
However the need for extra equipment has not yet been fully met, particularly with the uncertainty around when schools will be able to return to classroom learning, so the fundraising campaign continues.
