The Samaritans charity shop will be holding a Vintage Day on Saturday, 22nd August, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, outdoors in Crown Court, next to the former Cellar Cafe.

Organiser Sue White said: "Some really lovely items have been generously donated to the shop - we have vintage homewares, clothes and accessories."

One piece that will take pride of place is a designer wedding dress from the 1960s, priced at £150.

Other items will include a couple of trunks, lots of lace, haberdashery and linens.

Visitors are asked to wear a mask if they can. Hand sanitiser and disposable gloves will be made available to help shoppers browse safely.
