Good morning Godalming!

It's going to be a very wet Trolley Tuesday today, but please don't let the weather put you off donating to our Community Store.

This week the store is particularly in need of donations of the following: cereal, cleaning products, coffee, dried fruit, fruit juice, gluten free cereal, hot chocolate, meat meals, mixed cooking sauces, ready rice, smooth peanut butter, sweet treats, tinned puddings, vegetarian meals, tinned vegetables, non-bio washing powder, nappies size 6 and Aptamil Year 1.

It's going to be a wild and windy day today: the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind. Heavy rain is forecast for much of tomorrow, and wind gusts of up to 45 miles an hour are forecast for most of the day and into the early hours of Wednesday.

Network Rail has warned of potential delays and cancellations as its network is battered by the storm, and Surrey Police have urged drivers to take care on the roads, as there is a lot of standing water and there have been a few minor collisions already across the county.
