Jeremy Hunt tests positive for Covid

Godalming's MP Jeremy Hunt has been having a torrid time of it on the health front lately: having slipped and broken his elbow while out running last month, he has now tested positive for Covid.

"Having ducked the cursed virus for over a year, the dreaded news came through from NHS Test and Trace on Tuesday morning that I have succumbed to it myself," he said.

Writing in his weekly Constituency Update, Mr Hunt says he is feeling fatigued but suffering only mild symptoms.

"Our family is now in self-isolation getting wonderful support from neighbours and friends," he added.
