Debt Recovery Paralegal

A solicitors practice that specialises in commercial litigation and debt recovery is seeking a paralegal for its busy team.
You will manage a portfolio of clients and increase clients' recoveries year on year, collecting debts on behalf of FTSE 100 clients as well as small businesses.
You will advise clients on debt recovery procedures and appropriate options, preparing all necessary court papers, dealing with the matter from letter before action all the way through to enforcement.
There is a fantastic opportunity for client contact as well as drafting legal documents and dealing with more complex matters. There is also an opportunity to get involved with overseas collection and other dispute resolution matters.
You should have experience in debt recovery and knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol as well as the Civil Procedure Rules. You will also have experience in dealing with court documents and enforcement methods. Knowledge of corporate insolvency processes would be useful but is not essential.

Occupational Therapist
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapist at Surrey County Council.
As an Occupational Therapist based in a locality team you will be given the opportunity to work with a variety of clients who have differing needs.
The clients you work with may experience a learning disability, physical or sensory impairment, or mental health issues, or be an older person.
You will be part of a multi-skilled team which provides support to vulnerable adults and their carers in a community based setting. You will have a full-time contract with a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.
Main duties include:
Working in locality team with social workers and occupational therapists;
Take professional responsibility as directed for managing a caseload which will include individuals, children, families and carers who require support and guidance;
Enable them to identify their needs and plan support to meet those needs using the full range of options, seeking advice and support where appropriate;
Carrying out assessments;
Reablement, equipment and adaptations;
Carrying out moving and handling assessments;
Provide holistic assessment to clients with a disability.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as an OT within the social care setting, experience of intermediate care to work alongside an in-house reablement team and local domiciliary care agencies, as well as manual handling, major adaptations, enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you). The candidate must be HCPC registered with a full OT qualification.
There will be opportunities for additional training for both permanent and temporary members of staff within the authority. With new projects under way in various teams, they offer a very competitive rate of pay. Free onsite parking is offered to all staff.

Role: Cleaner
