The Sewing4Good team have pulled out all the stops and delivered a massive 55 sets of scrubs to the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.

The scrubs will be used by staff at four hospitals within the trust, on new Covid wards.

In January the group, which has members in Godalming, Bramley and Chiddingfold, produced 118 sets of scrubs, 14 scrub tops, 193 ear savers, 95 hats, 43 bags and four masks.

The group was set up at the start of the pandemic to make scrubs for medical centres, nursing homes and hospitals from donated sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. They operate under the Rotary umbrella as a community group attached to Godalming Rotary.

They have also run several very successful stalls selling face masks in the High Street, with all proceeds going to Arthouse Meath.

Jennifer Mason from the group said: "We only got the request last week. This was incredible. Well done to all involved."
