Braced for an influx of customers as the mercury rises today are the staff behind the counter at Godalming Delights, the ice-cream and sweet shop in Church Street.
The shop, which is also famed for its delicious waffles and amazing milkshakes, saw queues out the door yesterday afternoon as the sun made an appearance.
And with the next few days set to be a scorcher, Godalming people are bound to be making a beeline for the store.
Owner Ewen MacNair says the shop's 18 flavours of ice cream have proved increasingly popular as the temperature rises, with chocolate being the firm favourite in Godalming.
At his other shop, Shere Delights, salted caramel is top of the flavour charts.
The Godalming shop has been tickling the town's tastebuds since 2018, and will continue to play its part in keeping the town cool this weekend.
