The Community Store is open Monday to Friday 10.30am to 12.30pm (excluding bank holidays).

In a statement posted on social media yesterday, Patrick Andre, one of the store organisers, wrote: "As a group we would like to reaffirm our commitment to helping those who are facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The Godalming & Villages Community Store was created to support local individuals and families who through no fault of their own, may need a helping hand.

"We are determined that no-one should go hungry. We, along with the Food Bank at St Mark's, are here to help throughout the year.

"We are committed to work alongside local and national government to protect the most vulnerable in our community, ensuring they get the food they need, and no child goes hungry.

"If you or someone you know needs help, please reach out.

"Together we can achieve so much more."

If you, or someone you know, is in need of support, either call the town council on 01483 523575 (Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays) or email.
