Vaccination appointment letters on their way to over-65s

Surrey Heartlands CCG, which is overseeing the rollout of the Covid vaccine across Waverley, says people aged 65 and over should soon start to receive invitations to book a jab.

Letters from the national booking system are expected to start arriving from today, with people able to book appointments for next Monday (15th February) onwards.

People will also start to be invited via their GP practices. As before, the national booking service will be inviting people to book appointments at larger centres, such as Epsom Racecourse or community pharmacies; if people prefer to wait to be contacted by their GP practice so they can have their vaccination at one of the local GP-led vaccination services, they can do so.

As before, the message is to wait to be called, and not contact your GP, as they will be unable to book a slot for you until you have been invited.
