Godalming Nub News has been in existence for nearly three months now, and in that time we have written almost 200 stories, and 20,000 people have visited our website.

We have over 200 Facebook followers, and nearly 120 on Twitter.

Our Up Close series, featuring local firms, has featured Nathan's luggage and leather goods shop; The Art Shop; Farncombe Boathouse; The Sun Inn and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

We have celebrated the results of our A-level and GCSE students, reported on town council meetings and were there when Godalming Town FC lifted the Bill Kyte Trophy.

We have spoken to our MP, Jeremy Hunt; Waverley's new police borough commander Sam Adcock; and Godalming Town Council leader Paul Follows.

We have given updates on issues of interest to the town, including Broadwater Park, 5G phone masts, the Godalming Community Store and anti-social behaviour in the Phillips Memorial Park.

We are here to represent you, to report on issues that matter to you, to celebrate your successes and give you a voice when things get difficult.

Thank you for getting in touch, for telling us about things and for being so welcoming when we contact you.

If you haven't visited our Facebook page please come along and like us, follow us on Twitter @Godalmingnub.

If you run a business, sign up to our Local List, and if you are running a public event let the town know by putting it in our What's On section.

Together we can continue to provide you with an unrivalled local news service, with no annoying pop-ups, adverts or clickbait.

Godalming Nub News is Your Town in Your Pocket.
